Desperately Seek(er)ing an Image of a Black Hole!

The assignment was pretty straightforward: go to an MIT lab west of Boston, interview a couple scientists, gather some B-roll and deliver the footage to Seeker, an online news channel for science geeks. Sounds right up our ally!

But this was no ordinary lab. From the outside, the building’s huge white dome looked straight out of a space movie. Inside, it was pretty normal if you ignored the beeping and humming from a huge server room. The scientists were personable, until they started talking about how they’ve been gathering data for the past 2+ years from telescopes around the world that will give them an image of… a black hole.

Far out. We’d tell you more, but we barely can wrap our heads around it. Better to watch the video, produced by Seeker with our footage and interviews.
