We went deep to produce this video for NOAA Fisheries, showcasing the Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s bottom longline survey. A joint effort between scientists and fishermen, the BLL survey complements other NOAA surveys to provide a more complete picture of fisheries in the Northeast region.
This video builds on a common theme in our work, that collaboration between fishermen and scientists leads to better outcomes for everyone!
